This upcoming GEN S retreat will target 250 staff and members from all regions and divisions who have been nominated by their local union.

The Focus:  Leadership development with an emphasis on team cooperation and skill enhancement.

On the Horizon: GEN S XCHANGE Program

Locals that meet the standards of SEIU's New Strength Unity Plan will exchange staff and members in five rotations lasting four to eight weeks over a two-year period.

During the exchange, participants will be mentored and assigned to campaigns.

To qualify for participation, candidates must demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to their local union and the labor movement. And where applicable, they must be members in good standing.
