Health Care workers at Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston Iowa, formerly known as Greater Community Hospital of Creston Iowa, joined SEIU in Iowa in 1985 as local 725.  When Local 199 was established in 1999 to join health care workers from around the state into a larger statewide local, Local 725 joined them.  The union represents all, nearly 200 health care employees at the Greater Regional Medical Center.
