  In July 2003, Sonographers will receive the 2% across the board and the 2% recruitment and retention adjustment.

  In july 2004, Sonographers will receive the 2% across the board and  a 4% market adjustments.

Example
  Current base salary: $40,000
       Salary increase: $40,000 + (2%+2%) = $41,600
       New Salary as of July 2003: $41,600

  In July 2004: $41,600 + (2%+4%) = $44,096
